Satyananda Yoga Ashram is the creation of the workers of the Satyananda Yoga where inmates can practice meditation and spirituality by grasping the purity of secularism. One of the main motives of starting this Ashramam is to help those people who try to find the aim of the outcome of human brain through different practice systems of yoga like meditation, pranayama etc.. without being inside the restrictions of any particular religion or custom practices . Nearly two acres of land on the banks of the river Chaliyar at Perumanna in Kozhikode district has been already purchased for this effort. The construction works of the meditation hall is in progress now .

Satyananda aims to give accommodation facilities and proper guidance on yoga practices to the people who wish to be at the zenith of spirituality . These services will be given to the people without any intention of making profit. The number of inmates has been constrained now taking the space availability into consideration.

Satyananda also planning to build an Old Age Home in connection with the yoga culture in the future. Apart from other Old Age Homes we will have various Indian training systems for health care , entertainment and cultural development of the inmates with yoga and mediation practice .
